Most well-informed sportbike magazine in the US
I've subscribed to this magazine for over a year and in that time, I've found numerous articles, from reviews of the latest sportbikes to ratings of aftermarket parts and riding techniques, which have been worth archiving for later reference. Sport Rider Magazine
Probably the best magazine on sportbikes and performance motorcycles I've ever read. Full of pertinent information on the latest machines, plus it has tips on riding techniques, which I find invaluable. The editors seem to have more insight into what makes performance motorcycles work than the other magazines.

Best U.S. Sport Bike magazine
Of all the motorcycle magazines I've been able to get in the U.S., Sport Rider is the only one that is dedicated to Sport Bikes.It has great reviews on new bikes, tips on riding, racing news, and great reviews on Sport Bike products (i.e. the best helmets).If you're like me and you're not too interested in cruisers or touring bikes, but you are big into Sport Bikes, this is your magazine. ... It's The Aura That Counts
Some things never really change.Under one branding or another, the Jeep Wrangler has always been an American icon.Jacked up suspensions, massive bumpers, countwinches, a layer of dust, and an incredibly loud sound system - who could ask for more.Primarily a male ego toy, many dream of packing up some food, beverage, and a beautiful companion on an unplanned trip to some unknown Valhalla. Down the Drain!
By the time my subscription ran out, I had tired of the lame humor, poor technical content, and hopelessly predictable format.It took three months for the subscription to get started and after two issues, I regretted buying it.Check out the web site before you buy this - it is pretty thin...

Great Magazine, if you can get it.
Where to begin... well if your stupid enough not to read the title of the magazine you deserved to be kicked...it says Eurotuner for a reason....not japtuner or ricetuner......i love this mag and would recommend it to any VW/Audi lovers

Awesome Magazine
I've used this magazine to make informed decisions before buying any product for my ATV.I started out with a Warrior, but traded it in for a Suzuki Z400.I did tons of research using this magazine.They tested everything they could bolt on the Z400 and then published if it worked or not.They answer questions and post good articles.More than worth the few dollars to be informed if 4-wheeling is your thing to do.

Excellent gift for hard to buy for teens!
I purchased this magazine subscription for my nephew for Christmas (he is 15 yrs. old).He is very hard to buy for within a limited budget (we budget $15-$20 per kid for gifts).He is into motorbikes, snowboarding, etc. and he just absolutely loves the subscription!Every month he gets a "gift" in the mail.

A Ferrari magazine written by and for people who love the blood red cars
Fair disclosure - I have been a regular contributer to this magazine since issue 4 (back in 1996). I was a subscriber before that and worked hard to earn a spot on the masthead. I know many of the writers and photographers on the staff so I know that everyone loves these wonderful Italian cars. We dream about them. We talk about them and we drive them. Oh yeah, we drive them everywhere and we go fast.I hope the passion comes through in every page - we really try.

This mag kicks ...!
Rod & Custom has had ups and downs over the past 50 years, but the current iteration is outstanding! It strikes a perfect balance between high-dollar dream cars and super low-buck real world projects, and the tech it pretty darn good as well. No magazine can be all things to all people, and this one doesn't try. There are no Rockasilly idiots or greasy haired wanna-be fonzie "kulture" stories, just cool cars.

Hot Rod Lawn Chair Mag
This rag is the ideal material for the fatcats with loads of cash.You know the ones at shows with the cry baby dolls, trailer betties and lawn chairs. While this may be one of the classic rod rags, it seems to have lost its roots of the rod kulture, rather than making real world suggestions for the shade tree mechanic, it expects everyone to just go out and buy corvette engines, and kit cars. ... negative picture
I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice but I still have to let you know about the reverse picture on page 60 of the April 2004 issue. The picture of the electronics on the floor board of the 62 Plymouth is a mirror image of the real thing. After starring at the photo for a minute or two trying to read the letters on the MSD ignition box and not knowing why the car suddenly was right hand drive it dawned on me that the negative was laid on the wrong side when the print was made. I hate to say it...
...But I prefer Popular Hot Rodding to Hot Rod. PHR covers classic and muscle cars with more depth, while doing a decent job of staying away from Hondas and Acuras with those big dumb exhaust pipes. The road racing bible.
It just doesn't get any better than this, trust me. If I were stranded on a desert isle and had to choose recv. the big four (Cycle World, Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Cycle News) or Roadracing World, I'd pick the one issue of R&W every time. Nuff said. -ds-

I enjoy this magazine because of the technical articles and the reviews done on individual's automobiles. I own a 93 LX 5.0 coupe and I have used articles to gain ideas for future projects. The vendor ads have been a very helpful source in researching parts and comparison shopping.
