5-0 out of 5 stars An informative magazine for RV'ers
My husband and I have been full-timing for the past 4 yrs and we look forward to each and every issue of Trailer Life! From the informative 10-minute tech to the new and up and coming new tow vehicles, etc. Yes, there is a lot of ads, but there is a lot of useful information there on new products that every camper can use at one time or another, and no we don't "keep up with the Jones's"!We just enjoy RV'ing....

2-0 out of 5 stars Ho-hum
I have to agree mostly with the reader from Greeley.Trailer Life is a fine magazine if you like reading about the latest big RVs and trucks.5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the Time to Check Out This Magazine
Having been an RVer since childhood, I find Trailer Life extremely helpful. My husband and I are carrying on the tradition that my family started when I was young - we own an RV and have traveled over 4,000 miles in one trip with a trailer.I don't find the advertisements annoying - as with any magazine, they are needed to help finance the magazine. If you are a REAL RVer, you will find the information in the advertisements helpful. As far as the feature story highlighting the tow vehicle more than the towed vehicle, this is simply not always true. Also, the feature stories from month to month show trailers of all sizes and all price ranges. One month may highlight an expensive motor home; however, the next month may highlight a much less expensive pop-up trailer. There may not be but one trailer or tow vehicle of interest highlighted each year, but it is always interesting to read about all that's out there.I must disagree with the Greeley, CO reader again -this is not a Keep-Up-With-the-Jones' magazine.Trailer Life exists to keep readers informed, not ahead of everyone else! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The perfect redneck magazine
What's better than a 700hp primered car doing a burnout? Not much. That's what the rednecks that write for Car Craft belive, and it shows. For example, someone sent in a pic of their beater doing a burnout. CC published it with the caption "Is that the battery strapped to the windshield?! That is awesome!" This mag is a fun, informational read.
5-0 out of 5 stars Hands down, the best mag on the planet
If you want down to earth, fun, understandable, most of the time affordable outlook on the car crafting industry, this is the mag for you.Great writers, great articles, great magazine...And it's dirt cheap.Yippee!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars One of the best musclecar magazines
I feel a bit ackword putting 5 stars for any item without some explaination, so here it is. If you are interested in building engines with high cost-to-performance ratio as well as good reliability, this is the magazine for you. The magazine doesn't hold bias to any (american) company either making it good for any enthusiast. In addition, the straight scoop section has great information on the automotive world in both the corporate and enthusiast venues. And if you looking for a little comedy, the magazine offers that too. Carcraft is one of the best all around magazines for anyone who owns classic or modern american muscle. However, if you own an import car, don't look for much information or sympathy in these pages. Ofcourse, that isn't the subject of this magazine anyway and there are plenty of good import magazines available. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A true r/c mag
This blows away r/c car action. Greg Vogel used to work for r/c car action before it went downhill. He made this mag great.
5-0 out of 5 stars Whoa, a REAL RC magazine!
I was blown away by RC Driver from my first issue! This heavy book has unbelievable pictures and got more car tests then the other mags plus boats in there to. If u want helpful tips and honest testing and not just a catilog of ads GET DRIVER! It's the only one i will subscribe to now

1-0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware
This subscription was a fiasco! It was always late and by the time I received and read it, I wanted to throw it out. It is filled with old products, tiresome pics, dull articles and way to many advertisements.

5-0 out of 5 stars Rider Magazine
All seemed to go well. I'm now waiting for the first Issue to arrive.

5-0 out of 5 stars good for ageing corner blasters
For ageing corner blasters like myself(53) who have slowed a bit and often ride two up on longish trips, "Rider" is an excellent magazine. It's new bike tests are reliable and low on hype. It's columnists often muse about the riding experience and its relation to our broader lives. It has plenty of "how to" features and my two decade collection of tours and destinations featured in "Rider" is keeping me pleasantly busy in retirement.A good down to earth, mature, magazine.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of my favorites
Largely geared towards the rider attracted to the larger bikes capable of logging lots of miles. Seems to feature a smattering of sport bikes, sport-tourers as well as touring rigs, the larger touring cruisers and liter sized open-bikes. The commentary is often based on longer rides, as well as long-term tests, and they occasionally dig up stuff on the classic bikes of the 50-70s, for those senior riders who want a trip down memory lane. They do not always have the most technical of write-ups, but feature good useful information for the enthusiast who wants to keep abreast of what's happening... Not a squid or scene mag. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great!
For all the guys who just want to look at hot girls on hot cars, this is the mag to have.First the cover of all the issues stand out, very unique in its way. There is not that many tech talk in here and if you want to learn about that stuff, check out Sport Compact Cars, but just the pleasure of enjoying and checking up on the lifestyle of the whole import scene, this is the mag to get.

5-0 out of 5 stars One of two magazines for car buffs worth owning
Aside from Sports Compact Car magazine, Import Tuner is the only car magazine worth owning.Superstreet is absolutely horrendous...one of the copies I purchased was printed backwards and upside down...how they managed to do that I'll never know. All the other magazines in this class are either written poorly (superstreet) or a complete joke (dubs). This and SCC are the only two magazines worth owning if you are interested in the import car scene.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best

4-0 out of 5 stars Only for Euro cars sold in USA
Great magazine lots of good tips and nice product reviews. Very entertaining. The only downside it only has info on European cars sold in the US Market, so if you want info on the latest Alfa Romeo or tips on how to improved the performance of your Peugeot 307 this is not the place. On the other hand if you have a VW Gti or a BMW you will love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Superb auto magazine...
Outstanding magazine for German auto enthusiasts! New car reviews and project cars, some of which go back to the 1970s.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Best European Tuner Magazine I've Read
European Car features a wide variety of new, old, and upcoming European made automobiles. You'll find everything from a hopped up '89 VW GTI, to the lastest masterpiece of Pininfarina. 5-0 out of 5 stars Complete Cruiser
This is the most complete motorcycle cruiser magazine out there. They have the technical information that will satisfy the tech guys as well as the history for those nostalgic riders.I love this magazine.I am sad that it only comes every other month but it is great to open the mailbox and see it when it does come.I would encourage all cruiser riders to buy this magazine if they want the knowledge and understanding of cruisers that will increase their appreciation.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Magazine
This is just about the only decent magazine I've found that covers only cruisers. Don't care about which new crotch rocket can do a 9-second quater? This is the magazine for you. It covers all the new bikes, with great reviews from many different riders and perspectives, plus gives general riding tips and maintenance/modification guides.

4-0 out of 5 stars 6 issues?You kidding?
I love this magazine. As soon as they start running it every month I'll raise my rating. This mag fills the gap between the sea of sportbike mags and the sea of Harley/Indian mags.Honda, Kawi, etc. are innovating like mad.The 1800's and 2000's are coming out and need to be covered!Thankfully, this mag fits the bill.It is worth reading, but needs to meet its potential. It needs to be more in depth, and published more frequently.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST MAGAZINE EVER MADE
Actually, Im 13 any way, this is the coolest magazine ever made, s*** its tha only magazine I read. I love luxury rides and this magazine is full of them. With mounthly up dates on the latest car accesories, technology (cell phones & video games) and the coolest treands that I wear. This magazine is awesome, there's no other magazine out there that can beat this one. Each issue has all the coolest celebrities and news on whats new with rap music. It's a mixture of XXL and Rides, this is by far, the best magazine ever made!

2-0 out of 5 stars I hate it
This magazine is a waste. It is a magazine that specializes in basically "pimped-out" rapper cars, which are simply not cool cars.

4-0 out of 5 stars BEST MOPAR MAG, BUT STILL NOT GREAT
HIGHT PERFORMANCE MOPAR WAS A BETTER MAG, BUT BECAUSE THAT MAGAZINE ISNT IN PUBLICATION ANYMORE THIS ONE IS THE BEST BY DEFULT. STILL NO MOPAR MAG REALLY EXPLAINS ALL THE NUANCES OF MOPAR STUFF AS IN DEPTH AS THEY SHOULD. I FIND MORE USEFULL STUFF IN CARCRAFT MAGAZINE ON MOPARS THEN I DO IN ANY MOPAR MAG. IF U JUST GET YOUR FIRST MOPAR AND KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEM YOU WOULD THINK THESE MOPAR MAGS WOULD BE OF MORE HELP BECAUSE THEREARE WAY MORE VARIABLES THEN CHEVYS IN THE CARS THEY COVER. 5-0 out of 5 stars Best $19.95 ever spent!!!
Grassroots Motorsports and its sister publication Classic Motorsports Magazine are in my mind two of the best automotive publications out there. The articles are very informative, and written in a way that any enthusiast will enjoy them.No matter what their level of ability is. Reading these two magazines is like sitting in the garage listening to a friend tell you of their latest automotive adventures. This in itself would be enough to make them a must buy for me.
5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST MAGAZINE FOR AMATEUR MOTORSPORTS!
You cannot find a better source for taking any car and preparing it for any type of motorsports, from auto-x, hillclimbs, High Performance Driver's Education (HPDE), to club racing you won't find a better magazine.
5-0 out of 5 stars GRM , a mag for all...
I've been reading Grassroots Motorsports for some time now. I think that many who see it assume it is ALL about racing. Guess what? You're wrong!

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for any Subaru owner
If you live in the Pacific Northwest you know how prominent subaru's are. Every soccer mom has an outback and all the cool people have a 2.5RS or WRX. This is the only magazine that deals with ALL things subaru. All those idiot import tuner mags only have super high horsepower STI's that you could never build. Subiesport has articles and how to do things right, and on a budget. Of course there are those high HP STi's but there are also driving tips for AutoX, drag racing, tuning and installs of everything. I highly recomend this if you own a subaru and want more from it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Subaru Magazine for Subie Freaks
I first heard of this magazine while on www.rallitekforums.com but could never find a copy. While getting work done on my car at a local shop Rallitek (www.rallitek.com) they had some old issues and the newest issue laying around.I read through about 3 issues even when my car was done. This magazine has every thing a subaru fan could want. There are great write ups about mods you can do as well as head to heads with Subaru vs. Audi.Once you read one you will be hooked as I was.

4-0 out of 5 stars If you are really that into Subarus
My friend had an issue of this magazine laying around his house, and I picked it up.Now, I am not a "die hard subie fan"like he is, so it surprised me that this magazine even existed.I wondered what they could possibly write an entire magazine about. They surprised me.This magazine is VERY informative about Subarus. They have all the "subie" news.It focuses on the high-performance Subarus (Yeah, I see some of you smirking!,) and even goes a little bit into Subaru tuner products, etc.

If you like tuner cars then you will like this! This magazine has great information and great pictures. They tell you about all the new parts, how u can get parts for cheap and how to install. I would also have to say this is the most attractive tuner magazine on the market. Great design Great pictures Great information Great magazine.

5-0 out of 5 stars Slick Mag!
I subscribe to all the major tuner magazines, but the only one I look forward to receiving in my mailbox each month is Modified. The content is hard core, photos are excellent, and the overall layout and design of the magazine is by far the best of the group. These guys seem to really live and breath the sport compact performance scene - they have an edge the others don't - I will likely only renew this mag and let the others lapse. ... Read more

This is a great magazine for BMW owners.Unlike most of the other magazines on BMW's, which are often published from the UK, this one is printed in the USA and covers a wide range of topics each month on new and older models. One highlight for US owners is that the magazine is full of ads and websites to buy parts and performance upgrades.A quick glance through this magazine and in about 20 minutes I was able to find some parts for my 1987 535is, and at a significant discount!Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Most well-informed sportbike magazine in the US
I've subscribed to this magazine for over a year and in that time, I've found numerous articles, from reviews of the latest sportbikes to ratings of aftermarket parts and riding techniques, which have been worth archiving for later reference.5-0 out of 5 stars Sport Rider Magazine
Probably the best magazine on sportbikes and performance motorcycles I've ever read. Full of pertinent information on the latest machines, plus it has tips on riding techniques, which I find invaluable. The editors seem to have more insight into what makes performance motorcycles work than the other magazines.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best U.S. Sport Bike magazine
Of all the motorcycle magazines I've been able to get in the U.S., Sport Rider is the only one that is dedicated to Sport Bikes. It has great reviews on new bikes, tips on riding, racing news, and great reviews on Sport Bike products (i.e. the best helmets). If you're like me and you're not too interested in cruisers or touring bikes, but you are big into Sport Bikes, this is your magazine. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars It's The Aura That Counts
Some things never really change.Under one branding or another, the Jeep Wrangler has always been an American icon.Jacked up suspensions, massive bumpers, countwinches, a layer of dust, and an incredibly loud sound system - who could ask for more.Primarily a male ego toy, many dream of packing up some food, beverage, and a beautiful companion on an unplanned trip to some unknown Valhalla.1-0 out of 5 stars Down the Drain!
By the time my subscription ran out, I had tired of the lame humor, poor technical content, and hopelessly predictable format. It took three months for the subscription to get started and after two issues, I regretted buying it.Check out the web site before you buy this - it is pretty thin...
