The Prices of Amazon's International Magazines are Overpriced
British Glamour is great, so is British Vogue. However I find it funny how amazon's subscription rate to glamour is more expensive than just buying it off the newsstand (it's only $4.99/issue on the newstand). Other international magazine subscriptions such as British Vogue and French Vogue, even Nylon from the US is more expensive if you order it off amazon than on the site. Aren't we supposed to be getting better deals here?

Fabulous in *EVERY* way!
From the perfect sizing of this magazine (you can easily carry it with you) to the no nonsense articles, this magazine has been a favourite of mine for years! This magazine is filled with substance, unlike it's American counterpart. British society has so many different (read: accepting) views on things from culture, to nudity, to sensuality and even with relating to others.
Best Mag Out There!
I have been reading British Glamour for two years now. I can't recommend it enough to those who want more fashion and beauty advice and less sickly sweet romantic stuff (i.e., "cute things my boyfriend does" - please!). The British version is is more fashionable than its American counterpart. It's trendier, wittier and gets straight to the point. Bridging the Gap Between Hispanics and Americans
Latina is a cultural magazine designed to appeal to the modern, trendy Hispanic woman who resides in the USA. This magazine features a mixture of entertainment, fashion, and practical advice on topics ranging from personal finance to family life and its primary audience is young woman, both married and single.
What's up with this magazine?
Ok, so the tips are great and specific, but the spanglish is disgusting!What is this magazine trying to prove?Why encourage this poor example of language? It's not cute and certainly not proper. As a South American living in this country since the age of 3, it is not cute nor is it endearing.It's embarassing.Why would you encourage this?I read a couple of issues, crossing my fingers that it would change, but it didn't.I was really offended at the publisher giving in to type and assuming I actually speak like this!

Not for Spanish students

Great Magazine - Terrible price
As has been already noted, if you go to the Stampington.com website, you can get the same magazine, same number of issues for only $29.95.

Belle Armoire is an amazing magazine for people interested in creating or simply enjoying one of kind accessories and embellished clothing that are true works of art. Great magazine! Go suscribe!
This has got to be my favorite fashion magazine! The american Vogue's kinda boring and full of ads, hardly features any shows (runway) or anything like that. This one does, and it does it extremely well. Every month it's full of pictures from the runway, the newest fashion items and they're all really gorgeous. If You're American Stick To Our Vogue
I am an American who happens to be very multi racial. Via my parents I have Spanish, French, African, Cuban, Native American and Irish Running through my veins. That's pretty much how all of my family is. So growing you you learn to appreciate other cultures real fast. You also learn how to speak at least three different languages fluently. For me, it's Spanish, Italian, and Gaelic. So when I pick up foreing magazines, you better believe that I want something that is cutting edge, infomative, and quite frankly, a link to how other people are living in different parts of the world. So if you love Vogue, and you love fashion, then this is the right mag for you. However, if you're looking for stuff about how the other cultures revere their stars, fashion, culture, community, then forget Vogue Espana.Read more

Never get my magazine!!!
I ordered 3 copies of this magazine for my daughter and my self.I never get them.Each time I have to call several times to the head office to complain before they are sent.Now I haven't got the last two issues, and when I call the phone has been disconnected.Love the magazine,when I get one.Hate the service!!! Don't wast your money on something you don't get. . .

Horrible Service
6 Month Subscription, why did I only receive 1 issue!This Magazine is the greatest but NOT from this service.All my other Amazon subscriptions have made me very happy with the services. but not this one.Sorry.....

Is it too much to ask that a fashion mag be about fashion?
I feel like a total traitor to the feminist movement for making this observation, but there are ten thousand magazines out there that I can read to nourish my mind.I want just one, just one, to make me feel pretty as a plus sized woman.

May be great, but you'll never get it.
Just like kecksburg65, I ordered a subscription back in Dec 03 and 3 months later have received nothing but grief.I submitted a customer service request weeks ago, and got no response.When I got them on the phone, they told me they now expect that nothing will be delivered until at least 6 months after the order date. Superb content - the best Elle.
The French Elle contains a wealth of articles on culture, current events around the world, politics, psychology, health, travel, beauty, fashion, etc.Its articles are thoughtful and much more substantive than those in the American Elle (which I find to be pretty shallow).It also contains humorous and fun articles - quite a variety overall.All in all it's one of my favorite magazines. Wasted money
I ordered this back in December 2003 and as of March 2004 still have not received any issue. The Magazine Express service that coordinates these subscriptions provides no customer service and Amazon won't do anything about it either. Don't bother ordering this unless you just want to throw money away because they will bill your credit card and give you nothing in return. Amazon doesn't care about providing customer service on this and all Magazine Express is interested in is your money. ... Read more
