4-0 out of 5 stars what guys think about

5-0 out of 5 stars Why it is still a great investment
Men's Health is one of the most popular men's magazines because it meets the various expectations and needs of the modern man. You simply have to know about fitness, dieting, supplements, fashion, gadgets, etc. The annual subscription makes it a bargain and you get so much information for a few bucks. One of the most interesting sections is the one dedicated to bedroom activities. The tips are definitely useful and yet I highly recommend in addition the bestseller "scientifically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex" for the latest secrets in this area. Another key feature of the magazine is that it motivates you to stay healthy, lean and fit. There are weight loss tips, advice on how to eat and exercise in order to see results fast. This is important part of keeping sharp appearance. Overall, I can reasonably say that you will learn a lot, have fun reading it and most probably it will help you up to a certain limit to be a good looking man and great lover.

3-0 out of 5 stars Was More Consistent A Couple Of Years Ago.
This magazine offers plenty for its readers. Various advice on career issues, fitness, financial planning, sex, nutrition, style, weight loss, time management, and even recipes. It is clearly accessible and brief in its execution. Which is fine, since life can get rather hectic nowadays. It is somewhat similar to "Mens Journal." But, with far more attention on health and fitness. I deduct 1 star because it was better written in the past. Still, it is the best mens magazine available today. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Um, no magazine
I'm sure this is a great magazine. But after ordering it and waiting 4 months I still don't have it.I have contacted the Amazon magazine service twice now and still don't know where my magazine is, or when it is coming.I was supposed to be coming in mid march (so there is a wait to begin with fyi).I gave this review 2 stars because I'm sure it is a good magazine, but the publisher apparently has problems working with Amazon to get it to my house, so they are not scoring to high in my mind.
5-0 out of 5 stars Beginner-friendly...seriously
I've been buying Runner's World off and on for years and everytime I pick up a copy, I never feel warded off the sport. I'm trying to train for a triathlon and everytime I pick up a magazine relating to triathlons in general, I feel like I'm the laziest ass on the planet. I'm not going to not do one because of this but it doesn't really help motivate a beginner. I love Runner's World because it's all-inclusive, for any level, for any age.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent magazine
Being an infrequent runner and trying to get back into shape for the Baltimore marathon this year, Runner's World is indispensible.A number of the articles are encouraging and help me with training, diet, etc.The equipment reviews make me salivate (I wish I could afford one of the Garmin training watches), but in all it's a great magazine.I highly recommend it! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Muscle And Fitness
Great magazine. They got good tips on everything. Eating/Building Muscle/Sheddin excess fat/ All that. Recommend this mag to body builders. I get it every month. Good stuff.

3-0 out of 5 stars Very pretty, but does it work
The pictures are nice, the show results current; but the information and products are as dated as Joe and Ben, themselves.

4-0 out of 5 stars Some need to read and just not look at the titles and pics
Muscle and fitness is a decent magazine.its like most all else out there.a bit slim, but good articles beyond just working out.

5-0 out of 5 stars A magazine for mature (not old) men who work, play, and live but work for a living
Best Life is quite possibly the very BEST men's magazine I've ever encountered. It's not for metrosexuals. It's not for niche markets. It not designed to specifically market clothing or housewares so exorbinently priced that only the upper eschelon could (or would bother to) afford them.
4-0 out of 5 stars Thoughtful, readable and interesting
I was expecting much worse when I saw Best Life on the shelf -- it sounded like yet another Maxim or Stuff. But I was very pleasantly surprised by the maturity of the articles that cover a good range of topics for 30-somethings and up. I can't think of a magazine that compares, unless you like Esquire (snore) or Details.

5-0 out of 5 stars Must have !?
Going off the first review I read which was titled "No Thanks", I have to go out and get myself a copy. If it is anything like it was described, then I'll get a two year subscription.

5-0 out of 5 stars For exercises routines there is no better magazine
I really like this magazine, this one has everything that you need to create your work out routines: exercises routines for every body part in each issue using dumbbells, barbell, machines, etc.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ideas on how to improve yourself
Many people will find this magazine shallow, but I don't really believe them. I am reading it non stop since the last semester, and I have to recognize it's well-written, it has great articles on health issues so guys can understand it; for example, there was a story on heart disease which was very compelling and informative. You will find exercises there if you want to pump up, I have been using them for a while and mixing them up as a routine I can follow and I'm pleased for the results; it's a nice first step if you're a beginner but then you'll have to take it a little forward. It has a simple, no-nonsense and humorous attitude which makes it even more enjoyable to read. I think it's good for your money's worth. just don't take the relationships articles way too seriously (by the way, they're NOT intended to be taken seriously) ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Get Huge!
So you want to get big.You want ladies to gaze approvingly at your body when you are at the beach, you want to make the football team and you want to be able to pummel the annoying nerds who yell out the answers in your math classes.Or you are approaching middle age, and you want to get those muscles back so you can feel like a kid again.
5-0 out of 5 stars Better than I thought
This magazine surprised me when I picked up the October 04 issue.I had expected it to be as bad, if not worse than Muscle and Fitness, a magazine of rehashed info. The issue I picked up, however, had articles on upcoming, and top bodybuilders.
3-0 out of 5 stars Is this what your really looking for?
Flex is a great magazine. I'm not afraid to say it, but what I am afraid to say is that every person in this magazine is on about a thousand dollar a month steroid budget. I liked the training tips given, however, and I think that the routines are well-rounded, and give people much more muscle. If you are an incredibly intense musclehead, then this magazine is for you. If you are intrested in looking good rather then having "sick" biceps then try a magazine like Muscle and Fitness, a more fitness diversified magazine. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally, something worth buying!
In the sea of health and fitness magazines out there, it's hard to find ones that really give interesting and motivational information.Muscle & Fitness, Musclemag, Flex, all good in their own reserve, but are targeting the juiced up group of bodybuilders.Men's Health, Men's Fitness and the like kind of bore with their long winded articles that (in my experience) lack any real fitness material.FitnessRX for Men, on the other hand, gives a person into fitness actual fitness info for a normal guy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Workout routines for the rest of us
I found MW to have realistic workout routines.
1-0 out of 5 stars Lots of pretty guys, but....
Yeah, the guys are hot in this magazine (and all the other workout mags...).But these mags are a ripoff if you really want to get in shape.I am fairly positive that the guys pictured there didn't get that way by subscribing to these publications. If you just want to look at homoerotic pictures, and can afford it, have fun.But if you want to look good, ditch the mags and get to work.
5-0 out of 5 stars Workout? PICS!
Yes, this magazine has a lot of articles on workout routines, hair and skin care, fashion, and it also spotlights a different model, their lifestyle and workout. But I think the thing that most people will buy this magazine for is the pictures. Not all the models are huge bodybuilders with no necks and pecs that looklike granite rocks. But they are all in excellent shape, some more buff than others, all very handsome and easy on the eyes. This magazine can be a little revealing at times so don't be timid if you buy it. ...
