Great to grow!
My 3 year old daughter loves this magazine and so do I! It features her favorite characters from PBS, Disney, and others totally commercial free. I expect this one to grow with her as well. Some of the activities are just right and some are a bit above her and we do them together or save until she's ready. She certainly won't outgrow this magazine before her subscription runs out!!

This is perfect for my 2 year old
I was in the local library and saw this magazine so I checked out several issues to read to my daughter.This morning, right after breakfast, she is going through the magazine on her own!She remembered the games that we played and replaying them on her own, shewas going over the stories we read and telling me about them, and she was trying to follow the maze on her own.
superb
This is not full of ads although it is full of tv characters and that in and of itself is an ad. However, it is educational with cute activities that are easily appropriate for ages 2 and up.

Magazines Never showed up
I'd be careful ordering magazines on Amazon. They aparently don't show up. I ordered House Beautiful Magazine, same story... never showed up.
It's What Men Like to Read
Men's Journal is a decent magazine full of varied topics of interest to men. This magazine covers areas like sports, adventure travel, fashion and style, cars and trucks, career issues, etc. This publication directs all of its articles toward men, with an emphasis on what is most appealing to males throughout a typical week in their lives.
Longtime Reader and Subscriber
I've been reading Men's Journal since the first issue. I've always enjoyed its mix of content. MJ interviews a wide range of interesting individuals. Over the years I've incorporated some of the workout tips from MJ's fitness pages into my workout routine. I especially enjoy reading the product reviews. The travel recommendations are always well written, if not sometimes beyond the budget of most readers (myself included!). Overall, Men's Journal offers a great mix of well written content. ... great magazine
This is a great magazine , much better than the english version, thier edition "50 bellos" , is the best. They really know how to pick beautiful people. The latest edition of "most beautiful" in english is really disappointing. I suggest People en Espanol, el mas mejor.

I must admit that I got hooked on this magazine after seeing a tiny picture of Juanes on the cover.I love his music and I wanted to know more about his life.My subscription started too late for his famous cover shot! �Que lastima! This magazine is a lot of fun, with simple ideas and easy to follow instructions. It caters to a young family, those with children ages 3 - 11 will benefit the most. My most favorable comment is the attitude Family Fun projects, it is always fun and upbeat.

LOVE this magazine
I bought this magazine as a gift subscription for my sister in law. She raved over it so much I bought it for myself and wow. It is a great magazine. We generally read it cover to cover.
Great magazine, worth saving
I never had my own subscription to this magazine. My mother-in-law subscribed and then would send it to me when she was done. I have saved every copy. There are so many great ideas in this magazine. They had one to make a playing card holder out of coffee cans lids. It was great for my 6 and 3 year old for playing UNO, especially when you have a lot of cards to hold. My 13 year old is selling magazines for her school and FamilyFun is one of the magazines available. I am ordering it, I miss reading it since my mother-in-law's subscription ran out. (I was hoping she would send me a subscription for Christmas since she knew how much I enjoyed it.)

Way TOO MUCH "L Word"
Yes, like every other dyke in America I watch The L Word. But too much of the content of the magazine is about the show and it's actors: straight and lesbian. Give us a break, there are too many smart,strong,talented lesbians that would be of interest to focus on one TV series.

It's not the type of magazine that going to tell you which bathing suit works well for your "bum type." Nylon magazine is amazing, with a creative touch no other magazine has. Based in the great NYC, this magazine oozes creative sophitcativeness, originality, and a sarcastic charm with amazing fashion, art, and espicially music. I ordered this magazine as a gift for my brother almost 5 months ago and he still has not received an issue. I cannot get a straight answer from anyone about what is happening and I have not even been able to get my money back.I would not recommend anyone wasting their money with this magazine unless they can find a legitimate web site to get it from.

Zoobooks
My 6 year old son loved this magazine. His eyes would light up whenever the magazine would arrive in the mail. The colorful photographs and fun facts about lots of types of animals made the magazine fun to read for both he and I.

A treasure to keep
I hope this magazine hasn't changed from when I got it as a child 20 years or so ago, because I dearly loved it then.It's not so much a magazine, with different articles and recurring features, as a vividly illustrated report on a different group of animals each month. (I wore out the binding on my "Alligators and Crocodiles" issue.) The beautiful drawings are both fun to look at and packed with information -- when I was taking biology courses in college I realized my old Zoobooks spreads of, say, "all the parrots of the world" had given me an intuitive grasp of comparative adaptation without my realizing I was learning anything.Be warned -- if you get this for your child, you may have to listen to all of the things she has learned about monkeys for months at a time! ... Best French craft magazine period!
If only they had an US version sigh*...Still Ooo la la when I picked this up in France for the first time I just could not put it down. The lay-out and photographs are beautifully styled. I was so inspired by the autumn addition I'm already planning on trying out a few of the paper collage projects. A superb magazine for crafty inspiration on every level- sewing, felting, vintage furniture restoration, interior design, storage, paper arts and entertaining a very collectable magazine.

Marie Claire idees translation
I love this magazine. I used to buy it at book stores but I haven't been able to find them lately so I am definitely going to get a subscription. Yes, it's in French but if you Google for free translation there are web sites that will translate from French to English.

Refreshing...wish it came out more often!
I recently got back from a trip home to Quebec, and bought a copy of Marie Claire Idees at the airport. Well, I adored it and plan to subscribe! The crafts and designs are classy and stylish, a nice change from the "County" style, ducks-and-cows, fake flowers and Disney themes that dominate the craft scene here. If you are sick of pastel landscapes, cartoon characters and cutesy themes, and can get by in French, this is the magazine for you! The only problem is that all their supply sources are in Europe, which is to be expected. And unfortunately it only comes out 4 times a year. It's cheaper to go directly to their site and subscribe there; about 34.00 USD including S&H.

Give Me the Details
Details is a mildly interesting magazine that is geared toward men of various ages and lifestyles. The main group that Details aims to capture is the 17 to 35 year- old male but there are articles in each magazine that could be appealing to men of many different ages, mostly in the middle to upper income groups.
Not worth the paper it's written on!!
Hi, I am writing this review in an attempt to help you save $10. This magazine is an embarrassment in every angle. It is full of pictures of "sexy" boys/men dressed in cloths no guy with self esteem would ever wear. And pictures is all there is, for you that think there will be something interesting to read, read this: THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS MAGAZINE TO READ!!! The latest issue contains of 48 (forty-eight) pages before you get to this issues contents. The first "article" starts on page 126 (!) and is about "why a man would like to slice of his testicles"! Totally the magazine contains of 260 pages and there is text (letters that forms sentences) on about 40 of them. Besides this, the magazine also has a huge dilemma of being a gay magazine or not.

I subscribed to Details because I'm interested in the male psyche. I also like looking at the male celebrity pictures and the guy models on ads. Its not the most politically correct article on the planet, for one the last page is called "gay or...?" In which the writer tries to uncover if a certain type of person is gay or not, and no conclusion is actually ever given so I suppose its for the reader to decide.

Takes too long to get
I ordered this a month ago and still have not received my first copy. I already have been charged for it. Better off just ordering through a card pull out in the magazine. Note says I won't get it until end of May. Ordered in Feb.

First has got it all!
Reading every new issue of First is like sitting down for a chat with a friend. Get yourself a cup of coffee, put your feet up -- and it's an instant little vacation. I have honestly learned some very valuable facts from this entertaining women's publication. Fashion, food, family, the work place, money issues, hobbies... What more could you ask?

THE ultimate dumbing down of the American press
Okay, so In Touch has never claimed to be anything other than what it is: A glossy tabloid.But just when you didn't think it was possible for the American tabloid press to dumb down any further, along came In Touch Weekly and US Weekly.
