4-0 out of 5 stars what guys think about

5-0 out of 5 stars Why it is still a great investment
Men's Health is one of the most popular men's magazines because it meets the various expectations and needs of the modern man. You simply have to know about fitness, dieting, supplements, fashion, gadgets, etc. The annual subscription makes it a bargain and you get so much information for a few bucks. One of the most interesting sections is the one dedicated to bedroom activities. The tips are definitely useful and yet I highly recommend in addition the bestseller "scientifically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex" for the latest secrets in this area. Another key feature of the magazine is that it motivates you to stay healthy, lean and fit. There are weight loss tips, advice on how to eat and exercise in order to see results fast. This is important part of keeping sharp appearance. Overall, I can reasonably say that you will learn a lot, have fun reading it and most probably it will help you up to a certain limit to be a good looking man and great lover.

3-0 out of 5 stars Was More Consistent A Couple Of Years Ago.
This magazine offers plenty for its readers. Various advice on career issues, fitness, financial planning, sex, nutrition, style, weight loss, time management, and even recipes. It is clearly accessible and brief in its execution. Which is fine, since life can get rather hectic nowadays. It is somewhat similar to "Mens Journal." But, with far more attention on health and fitness. I deduct 1 star because it was better written in the past. Still, it is the best mens magazine available today. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Top quality photos, interesting editorials
My husband likes this magazine a lot and that's why I came to renew his subscription. If there is one thing I surely know that's no woman can be everything for a man year after year! I definitely don't have the "eyes", legs, etc of the hot babes in every issue. However, I am both a smart woman and wife and I know that men need such eye candies. I have an idea about a few other men's magazines but I haven't seen in them better photos which don't expose the "naughty bits" of the models. They are really very stylish and professional. That's why I feel comfortable to see Maxim in my hubby's hands.
5-0 out of 5 stars One of my favourite magazines
Yes, I know it's weird that I like reading Maxim. But Maxim has inspired me of doing my job. I'm glad that Amazon sell its subscription.
3-0 out of 5 stars Advertising?????
When this mag first came out I thought it would be another mindless T&A mag. I was surprised to find that it actually had some readable and informative articles. Even this lass found the male oriented humor funny. But, now it has sadly become "Playboy lite." The pictures are too glossy, they have fewer articles, and 60% of it is advertising. When they go back to a more moderate middle groud I will try it again. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Um, no magazine
I'm sure this is a great magazine. But after ordering it and waiting 4 months I still don't have it.I have contacted the Amazon magazine service twice now and still don't know where my magazine is, or when it is coming.I was supposed to be coming in mid march (so there is a wait to begin with fyi).I gave this review 2 stars because I'm sure it is a good magazine, but the publisher apparently has problems working with Amazon to get it to my house, so they are not scoring to high in my mind.
    5-0 out of 5 stars Beginner-friendly...seriously
I've been buying Runner's World off and on for years and everytime I pick up a copy, I never feel warded off the sport. I'm trying to train for a triathlon and everytime I pick up a magazine relating to triathlons in general, I feel like I'm the laziest ass on the planet. I'm not going to not do one because of this but it doesn't really help motivate a beginner. I love Runner's World because it's all-inclusive, for any level, for any age.
5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent magazine
Being an infrequent runner and trying to get back into shape for the Baltimore marathon this year, Runner's World is indispensible.A number of the articles are encouraging and help me with training, diet, etc.The equipment reviews make me salivate (I wish I could afford one of the Garmin training watches), but in all it's a great magazine.I highly recommend it! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars A Rite of Passage
I believe that every American man owes it to himself to subscribe to this magazine at least once in his lifetime. To feel the sense of entitlement that comes along with regular deliveries of hot naked women to one's mailbox is a true sense of prosperity, freedom, and manhood not to be missed.God bless America, and may God bless Playboy Magazine.

5-0 out of 5 stars Informative
I have been reading Playboy for years and have always felt this magizine has grown with informative information, and of course the great pictures have always been top notch. I cannot think of a better magazine to subscribe to......

5-0 out of 5 stars Exceptional, Hot and still the Best!
Who hasn't heard of Playboy? Well, there are many reasons for that. Hugh Hefner's vision for what really matters for a man and how to make sure that you'll have some good time and fun is still unsurpassed. I guess that most men are drawn to the exclusive and high quality photos of usually gorgeous women who are tastefully exposed but not completely. I love this element of teasing and keeping part of them uncovered so you can spice up the entertainment and experience with your fantasies.

    5-0 out of 5 stars Young naked women . . .
Young naked women: that's what life is all about. But you have to earn the naked part. Until then, by all means get a subscription to FHM. Unbelievable. And if you cannot actually have the women in the magazine, enjoy the articles. Or try getting famous or something. (Russell David Harper would recommend trying to go to the moon if you can, so that you can talk about your experiences, to women, when you get back [see his silly but perfectly honest novel called "Bald"]. I like the magazine for fashion as well as for the informative news articles.

2-0 out of 5 stars GQ stands for....?
I never bought GQ back in my 20s because for one thing, I never thought of myself as a clothes-horse.Also, I actually took the G in GQ to mean that it was actually for Gentlemen, ie, sipping Champagne on a Yacht pass me the the Caviar type Gentlemen.
5-0 out of 5 stars REALLY GQ
I love this magazine, the images are crisp, the writing consistantly to quality and the photography is always fabulous.Let's face it when a magazine coins a phrase, you know it's good.I have read GQ for several years and have found it consistantly good, though I must confess the only part that I consider must read every month is Style Guy, I don't always agree with him, but I love the questions, you really wonder if these people have ever picked up the magazine the are writing to..one never knows. The clothes they feature are usually top shelf, uh with top shelf prices as well..I mean a $2000 pair of alligator lofers..you gotta love it.If you have any interest in the latest styles and some great writing as well, then I highly recommend this book to you, though frankly I can't imagine anyone reading this that does not already have an opinion of this iconic magazine..but if you don't then by all means pick it up and form your own opinion..it's worth the effort. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Esquire is interesting
Esquire may be a man's magazine, but I enjoy the articles as a woman, because it is no holes barred feedback with the rough edges included. I got my first issue a couple weeks back, and found it funny, informative, great pic of Tom Petty, and I'm looking forward to more issues.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Very Good Magazine
Esquire is a very good magazine with a talented staff of excellent writers and photographers. The magazine is designed to appeal to the more upscale, more highly educated man. Articles cover a wide range of topics, from fashion, to politics, to health, to food & drink, to sports, to travel, to sex. Most of the articles are short, but you can count on finding a few lengthy pieces of journalism, and typically at least one interview with a well- known public figure.Esquire is printed on quality paper and with quality binding (no staples), and it has a very professional look to it. Ienjoy the articles in Esquire. The writers are very good, with several of them using humor as the main ingredient of their journalism. Others are more serious. The writers provide a good level of balance and with so many different topics (cars, food, drink, politics, etc.) available in each issue to read, you can skip over those that are less appealing and concentrate on the ones that suit your interests.

4-0 out of 5 stars The usual high standard
Still maintains an excellent reputation as a top men's life style magazine. Articles are certainly for the more enlightened reader. But still manages to provide a good balance of light-heqarted fare. A must subscribe for the 'modern man'. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars My Favorite
Penthouse is the hottest men's magazine available. The chicks are very slutty-looking, and the pictorials are extremely sexy.My favorite issue was the one which featured a totally explicit pictorial of a hot stud in a gladiator costume with a scalding-hot blonde and a scalding hot brunette -- I've still got that one in my collection.Playboy is for all the boys.Penthouse is for the men who know what they want.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good magazine for the adult male.
The adult men magazine hierarchy (small sample), from "classy" (pictures of nude women, but a lot of "other" content that tends to be more mainstream) to "trashy" (mostly pictures of naked women, and if there are articles and the like, they tend to be focused on the less mainstream more "adult" type activity): Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler, Taboo (a Hustler product), Nugget . . .

3-0 out of 5 stars It's What Men Like to Read
Men's Journal is a decent magazine full of varied topics of interest to men. This magazine covers areas like sports, adventure travel, fashion and style, cars and trucks, career issues, etc. This publication directs all of its articles toward men, with an emphasis on what is most appealing to males throughout a typical week in their lives.
5-0 out of 5 stars Longtime Reader and Subscriber
I've been reading Men's Journal since the first issue. I've always enjoyed its mix of content. MJ interviews a wide range of interesting individuals. Over the years I've incorporated some of the workout tips from MJ's fitness pages into my workout routine. I especially enjoy reading the product reviews. The travel recommendations are always well written, if not sometimes beyond the budget of most readers (myself included!). Overall, Men's Journal offers a great mix of well written content. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Give Me the Details
Details is a mildly interesting magazine that is geared toward men of various ages and lifestyles. The main group that Details aims to capture is the 17 to 35 year- old male but there are articles in each magazine that could be appealing to men of many different ages, mostly in the middle to upper income groups.
1-0 out of 5 stars Not worth the paper it's written on!!
Hi, I am writing this review in an attempt to help you save $10. This magazine is an embarrassment in every angle. It is full of pictures of "sexy" boys/men dressed in cloths no guy with self esteem would ever wear. And pictures is all there is, for you that think there will be something interesting to read, read this: THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS MAGAZINE TO READ!!! The latest issue contains of 48 (forty-eight) pages before you get to this issues contents. The first "article" starts on page 126 (!) and is about "why a man would like to slice of his testicles"! Totally the magazine contains of 260 pages and there is text (letters that forms sentences) on about 40 of them. Besides this, the magazine also has a huge dilemma of being a gay magazine or not.
4-0 out of 5 stars cool
I subscribed to Details because I'm interested in the male psyche. I also like looking at the male celebrity pictures and the guy models on ads. Its not the most politically correct article on the planet, for one the last page is called "gay or...?" In which the writer tries to uncover if a certain type of person is gay or not, and no conclusion is actually ever given so I suppose its for the reader to decide.

5-0 out of 5 stars King magazine: Mirror for the real world!
I love this magazine(not because of the big ole booty's), because of the way they present the ladies. I have never seen a cover of King showing some skinny, no meat eating, starving her self to death type chic! They show real women, with real shapes. It shows how women look in the real world! I love it, and yeah I must admit, I do love the big ole booty's!! Sorry Ladies, I am a man! LoL!

4-0 out of 5 stars Dubs and Dimes
I love King magazine! With that said the only thing I would change is the ratio of beautiful ladies to Rim advertisements. You have to flip through several pages of bling before getting to the "meat" of the magazine and the reason I bought it in the first place. I do have to say that I am impressed with how they make it a true mens magazine for people with "exotic" tastes and not a generic magazine with hot girls. BUY IT!!

5-0 out of 5 stars A magazine for mature (not old) men who work, play, and live but work for a living
Best Life is quite possibly the very BEST men's magazine I've ever encountered. It's not for metrosexuals. It's not for niche markets. It not designed to specifically market clothing or housewares so exorbinently priced that only the upper eschelon could (or would bother to) afford them.
4-0 out of 5 stars Thoughtful, readable and interesting
I was expecting much worse when I saw Best Life on the shelf -- it sounded like yet another Maxim or Stuff. But I was very pleasantly surprised by the maturity of the articles that cover a good range of topics for 30-somethings and up. I can't think of a magazine that compares, unless you like Esquire (snore) or Details.

5-0 out of 5 stars Must have !?
Going off the first review I read which was titled "No Thanks", I have to go out and get myself a copy. If it is anything like it was described, then I'll get a two year subscription.

2-0 out of 5 stars Its all shell.
This magazine has great covers and gets your attention right away. I was was drawn to the cover because it claims to have great article inside, but the articles are very short and pointless. It was a good magazine few years back but now it just seems like they don't know what their doing.

2-0 out of 5 stars Mens Fitness Magazine
I thought this particular magazine had been better than it initially looked. The website is much more informative than the magazine itself appears to be.Basically, if I had my choice I think I would cancel this subscription.
1-0 out of 5 stars Lack of good customer service leaves bad taste
I used to pick this magazine up on a regular basis.I enjoyed the fitness tips and nutrion tips that were in the magazine.I also thought that the work out plans that were in the pages were excelent, especially for those of us that were beginners.

5-0 out of 5 stars Five Stars For The Ladies/One Star For the Name
Like my fellow choc-o-holic white brother, Floyd's Garage, I too get weird and sometimes disgusted looks from some lame pastyfaced, flatbacked white girl at the counter. What I do when I put my "Black Men" or "King" magazine down on the counter is make comments like... "I love black women," "Black Women are the best," or I might mention to those most obviously in the negative... "You wish you had some butt and hips like these girls, now ring me the f--k up!

5-0 out of 5 stars This rag is da bomb
As a white middle-aged male, I always get strange looks from the counter girl when I buy my issue of Black Men. I don't know why though, where else can I do my research? Every white man's dream is a six-foot, big bootied, large breasted, black woman with straight silky hair. It is my dream to marry one. So when I'm cruising the turfs in my pimped out ride, or hip-hoppin' at the club, I gotta have the knowledge I need to hang with whatever ebony queen I have the priviledge of bumping into.
