Great magazine, needs more attention from readers!
This magazine offers a point of view so rarely seen in today's fashion world. It doesn't focus on high heels and gucci. It doesn't cater to kids. It speaks adult language and talks about things like SNEAKERS. And, it doesn't speak to just men or women! It's unisex! Basically, it rules. They do a fabulous job with focus, appeal, art, organization, and simply put, getting the story across. If you buy it once, you'll buy it every month just like me. Another OK glossy magazine
On one level Elle is a lot better than Vogue, it has more in the way of intelligent articles but this can work against it because Elle is known for its fashion, the photography is pretty good (not as good as Vogue mind)and some of the fashion that Elle is advertisingcould be afforded by the ordinary woman in the street, which cannot be said for what Vogue puts on its glossy pages; I mean come on, how many of us can afford the top brand designer labels like Prada?Not many of us that is for sure!
Very unimpressed!
I found this magazine very unrealistic in terms of fashion (not clothing you would actually see people wearing on a daily basis and definitely not clothing that most people can afford).The whole magazine is one big ad.If I wanted that, I could just turn on the tv!

My daughter, Kim Piper wrote an article in MAMMS in the early part of 2000. She was featured in the magazine along with her children in New Orleans, La. She had Breast Cancer;she died June 16,2000. I read her article, and I had the opportunity to tell her that it was a very good article.She did not like the way she looked due to the weight gain, from sterods , the loss of hear and whatever change of features the toxic drugs did to wretch her body. I have been unable to find this magazine, nor did I want to locae t until now, so, I am asking for your assistance in finding the March, April or May issue the year 2000. ... Read more

Like the Magazine, Hate the Price
I enjoy reading this magazine and its articles. I just wish they would send out 12 issues a year unstead of 6 and also lower the price. The magazine doesn't even have that many pages for it to cost what it cost. I think they should add more pages and cover more topics.

Good mag, bad price
I love the magazine always have, it's not only about superficial things that some of us don't care about such as celebrity gossip, fashion, makeovers. Don't get me wrong it's all right once and a while but enoughs, enough. I like to read something real and even sometimes a little raunchy. If you read it and don't like it or don't get it, sorry, but your probably a little bit of a prude. As for the price, I hope there's a typo, because $35 for six issues when you would only spend $24 if you paid full price doesn't make any sence to me.

Like It
I think this magazine is lighthearted and fun. Its very informative with more articles than ads. Its something to read while trying to RELAX and unwind. Its definately a friendly, light read with info on relationships, life, food, friendships, sex, fitness tips and other enjoyable things in life. No, its not about how to move up in our carreers. But not all things have to be, and sometimes we just need some time to enjoy being women. ... Read more

Intellectual Women Still Want to Cook and Garden!
This is a wonderful magazine and well worth the increased price we Americans have to pay.It's intelligent, relevant, and a joy to receive every month (yes, every month, in spite of its name). It's like a blend of Vanity Fair and Good Housekeeping - that is, if Good Housekeeping were remotely smart, which it's not, god bless it.

....gives an aspiring model the "Supermodel" treatment!!
Supermodels Unlimited features a program for pageant directors and modeling schools that allows us to crown "Supermodels" of our pageant program. We allow the girls to model outfits of their choice and give the excitement of fashion modeling a try! Competition winners are then awarded prizes and a page of photos in the magazine - it is an exciting and terrific publication for the girls and the industry. Pageant girls do great things in their home communities for charity - our "Supermodels" are hosting a Go Red for Women Fashion Show to benefit the American Heart Association - this magazine allows ALL girls (and guys too) the opportunity to shine and shows the potential in everyone.

Really Upset!
My daughter is trying to get started in modelling.We bought the magazine hoping for some good tips.We followed the advice given and were humiliated at my daughters first open call.Once we walked into a model agency in atlanta, a gentleman came out and laughed and told her to go and wipe off all the makeup.He said he never heard of this magazine.They passed it around the table and pointed out that it was more for contests than it was for real models.

What????? It's Aweful!
